An Enjoyable Christmas at Brunston Castle
We recieved a lovely letter from Mrs Pauline Beviss who, along woth some family and friends, stayed with us at Brunston Castle over the Christmas period. Please find an excerpt below.
Dear Norma and Staff
Despite the delay in writing to you, I must say on behalf of all of us, how much we enjoyed ourselves. The snow made it Christmas but, nevertheless, it was restriciting on what we may have otherwise done. However, we enjoyed the beach at Girvan and the train journey from Ayr to Glasgow, wehere we watched the skaters as the snow fell!
Brunston Castle itself was great. Friendly staff and fresh lodges with almost everything we could need.
Apart from an incident with the dishwasher breaking down, which was attended by maintenance, everything else was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will recommend Brunston Castle to our friends, particularly those who play golf.
May we ask that you please pass on our kind regards to Elliot and Beth - the recommendation to take a meal on our last evening in Scotland at The Brig O' Doon Hotel was an inspiration!
We hope that you are now free of ice and snow and wish you all the best for 2010
Yours Faithfully
Pauline Beviss
