Club Tahiti

Overview

Seasons at Club Tahiti is situated on Lanzarote’s stunning Costa Teguise, conveniently located 7km from the island’s capital, Arrecife, in a serene setting about 2km from golden sandy beaches. Lanzarote is renowned for its extensive range of watersports.

The area is recognized for its crystal clear waters and vast expanse of sandy beaches, interspersed with concealed coves and captivating bays. Understandably, visitors come back year after year from all over the world, to enjoy the sunny climate and the great surf!

Seasons at Club Tahiti – just a short distance from an 18 hole golf course – is in an ideal position to discover what this enchanting island has to offer.

The third largest of the Canaries, known since ancient times as ‘the Fortunate Isles’, maybe because Lanzarote is on the same latitude as California and the Sahara, which results in an enjoyable climate all year round, with over 320 days of sunshine each year.

Although the island’s landscape is austere, it is striking and astonishingly lush, with plentiful local crops, including the grapes which are used to good effect by the local wine producers! Due to tourism developing late on in Lanzarote, has meant that the island has preserved much of its unique character and culture, and today local tourism developments are restricted to traditional low rise, white-washed buildings, designed to blend in with the natural environment.

The Resort

Club Tahiti is set in delightfully landscaped grounds, with a number of the 53 apartments featuring terraces or balconies overlooking the alluring curves of a huge swimming pool complex, the focal point of the resort. Nearby to the resort are three beautiful beaches that are not typically overcrowded. A popular water park is also located in close proximity.

Located about 2km from Costa Teguise is Las Cucharas beach. The day and night-time attractions of Costa Teguise are only a short walk away. The area has many visitor attractions & we would recommend The Timanfaya National Park and Jameos Del Agua.

The resort hosts plenty of amenities to keep you busy whilst on your stay including a heated swimming pool, with children’s pool and whirlpool spa bath, sauna, air conditioned bar and clubhouse restaurant, pool-side bar, pool tables, table tennis, DVD rental on-site, money changing facilities and car hire facilities, laundry facilities on-site, regular nightly entertainment on site and within close proximity a tennis and health club available (2km), 18 hole golf course

(4km) and a grocery store (1km).

Accommodation

Each of the studios and one or two bedroom apartments are spacious, light and airy, tiled throughout and features a south west facing balcony or terrace, some of which overlook the splendid swimming pools and gardens.

All units have fully equipped kitchens with four hob rings, an oven, microwave, toaster and kettle and all offer a telephone and satellite TV, VCR/DVD player, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area.

All bed linen, towels, glassware, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are supplied, and each time you visit, you can be sure that you will always be greeted by an apartment in immaculate condition.

Area

Costa Teguise is a elegant tourist area on the south east coast of the unique volcanic island of Lanzarote. It is a purpose built resort that has been sensibly managed over the years. It is currently undertaking some refurbishment of the older developments which are in keeping with the cobbled streets and traditional roots.

The town has an excellent choice of cafes, bars and restaurants offering traditional Canarian to international cuisine. Many offer a great selection of locally caught fish such as dorada, vieja, cherne and sama.

Close to Club Tahiti are three fanatastic golden sand beaches which are usually uncrowded and a water park which is popular with families and couples alike. There are also shopping centres, tennis and other sports nearby. Diving equipment and bikes are available for hire.

Lanzarote has magnificent volcanic and coastal scenery and has many sights of artistic and historic importance to explore.

One of Lanzarote’s main claims to fame is that it has more than 100 volcanic mountains, and the majestic volcanic panoramic views of Fire Mountain National Park is definitely worth a visit. While the Volcanic Grill, which literally cooks the restaurant meals by the heat of a dormant volcano offers a very tasty menu. Another attraction worth a visit are the amazing volcanic caves of Cuevas de los Verdes and the ancient capital of Teguise, which features a vibrant, lively street market every Sunday.

La Geria is the nearby wine region where you can taste the local produce at the roadside bodegas and discover more about the intriguing method of vine cultivation which is unique to Lanzarote. For the more adventurous, regular cruises run to the sister island of Fuerteventura, famed for its golden sand dunes and world-class watersports competitions.
