Dave and Ann Roberts from Cardiff have been off on their travels again, this time to pay a second visit to Seasons superb resort in Cornwall. They certainly sound as if they had an entertaining time.

‘Just a note to let you know that we’ve had yet another brilliant stay at Clowance, near St Ives. We fell in love with it the first time we visited. The Estate and facilities are magnificent – everything you can think of is catered for. The staff and guest relations are always very welcoming and helpful.

We’ve always had such fun – just getting the boat out of the boathouse was hilarious in itself, but at least we managed to keep afloat. This time we had a go at the laser clay pigeon shooting (pictured). Neither of us had done it before and my wife, Ann, managed to get top score of 58 whilst I could only manage a paltry 20! Better luck next time I say.

Clowance is ideally situated to explore Cornwall’s beautiful beaches and coastline. We especially enjoyed visiting the Lizard and the drive from Hayle along the coast to Portreath was spectacular. Even for mid-September, the sun shone on us all week and we were able to sit outside and sample Cornish cream teas and the local ales in smugglers’ inns. Can’t wait to go back again next year.’
