Seasons Holidays County Hotel in Bath

Resort:

We have just returned from a wonderful short break in bath at the County Hotel. Welcome by Erin and her staff was great after a long drive. The rooms were small but perfectly comfortable and adequate for our needs. The breakfast option is a great idea, we had the continental and at £4.95 a day we had plenty to choose from, and it kept us going until the tea room!

The hotel is within walking distance of the town and its attractions. The Roman baths are a must to tour around, also the Thermal Spa nearby. Tip bring you own costume and towel and hire a robe. The whole experience is worth the £22 even if you have never, like me, been to anything like this before it is definately worth giving this a try. Another tip buy a coffee that will give you any extra 45 mins in the spa and 15 mins to change and as long as you do not linger over the coffee too long, this means extra time in the spa for free. An amazing experience worth trying.

We also went to Swindon by train and to the railway museum, a short walk away. A great option if your husband wants to tour the museum is the outlet shopping centre next door!

There is so much to do in Bath that we will be back.
